A Sacred Pause & A Reason to Celebrate
Have you ever felt the momentum of your life taking you to uncharted and exciting places? When the tidal wave of opportunity felt so good that you just kept saying yes? And then…all of a sudden you realized that the speed at which you were moving didn’t leave you time to reflect on whether what you were doing was actually going to take you where you wanted to go?
That’s where I have just been and it required me to take a sacred pause. My direction no longer seemed clear, although my obligations of being a ‘householder’ were. Completing my Ayurvedic studies while simultaneously building a business, raising a teenage daughter, caring for my home (pets and plants galore, included!), building my community, continuing my studies, and finding time to play.
This is the first time I’m endeavoring on a journey like this - one that is truly aligned with my dharma, and I think that’s why Spirit has been so generous. However, the refinement of direction is something that must be co-created with the opportunities presented to us. I believe to make the most of them, our actual presence is paramount. We have to be aware of the song we’re dancing to and what steps and style are called for. In the intoxicating melody, we can get caught in the beautiful rhythm, which too much change.
So, here I am again with you on this path - clear and open to share the teachings that have healed millions of bodies, hearts and minds.
